Casa Roto

Found this bijou little casa while out for a stroll this afternoon. I wonder how many years ago it was built.

Located in a wonderful position with stunning views over the vega to Granada is a stone farmhouse in need of little restoration. The property is structurally sound although will need a new roof. Although internally the property does require some redecoration and upgrading, it has plenty of scope for anyone to put their own stamp on it. Plenty of scope and potential.

Factoid: Cádiz is considered to be the oldest city in Europe due to its strategic location on the coast dividing Europe and Africa. The emplacement of the city of Cadiz is supreme. It is like a tongue stretching out into the Cadiz bay, which forms a fortified peninsula connected to firm land.
Under the Phoenician rule it was called Gadir. Unlike other cities nowadays, Cadiz appearance remains old, quaint but very kempt. As other Andalusian cities, it stands out for its Moorish architecture, narrow cobbled stone streets and the easy going personality of the south.
