Scared the life out of Toffee this morning. Told him to look up ¡Dios mío! ¡Dios mío! The world's on fire he screeched. He wasn't very pleased when I told him it was only a brilliant sunrise. We sat down together and pontificated.

Factoid: Laurie Lee (1914 - 1997) was a poet, novelist, musician and traveller who came from Gloucestershire. "Red Sky at Sunrise" is a single-volume edition of Laurie Lee's autobiographical trilogy - Cider with Rosie (1959), As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning (1969), and A Moment of War (1991). The trilogy depicts Lee's boyhood in the country, his journey to London to seek his fortune, and his experiences in the Spanish Civil War.
